No word on 26th milestone investigation

by isleofman.com 7th August 2007
There is still no official word on how the Police investigation into the Senior T.T. crash at the 26th Milestone is progressing.

A rider and two spectators were killed in the incident.

It's being reported a file has been sent to the Attorney General, who will decide whether there is a case to answer.

Last Monday, a person was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter, questioned and released on bail.

The Department of Tourism admitted several people from the organisers had been questioned by Police, as either witnesses or under caution.

There is some concern the ongoing investigation could have a negative effect on marshal numbers for the forthcoming Manx Grand Prix.
