Minister on Foot and Mouth alert

The Island remains on red-alert as experts in the UK work out the full extent of the foot and mouth outbreak.

Here on the Island, a ban remains on the importation, and the movement of livestock around the Island- and the Royal Agricultural Show has been cancelled.

Over the weekend, the public was asked to stay off much of the Manx countryside to help prevent the potential spread of the disease.
