Firearms legislation to be tightened

The police firearms officer in the Isle of Man is warning people who have imitation weapons legislation controlling their ownership is about to be tightened.

Following a recent case in which a Douglas man was jailed for brandishing a replica Armalite rifle, Constable Stuart Barker says new offences are being created.

He says misuse of imitation firearms will not be tolerated:
