MGP marshals appeal

With the first practice session for the Manx Grand Prix just over a fortnight away, there's a rallying cry today for marshals preparing for the event.

There are understood to be concerns among the large number of volunteers who enable the event, and the TT, to take place, after a person was arrested and questioned in connection with the fatal crash at the end of the Senior TT.

MGP Media Officer Geoff Cannell is reminding marshals insurance for the events cover any personal liability, and he's confident they will offer their services in the usual way:
