Bellis bailed - against police advice

A 22 year old Liverpool man has been bailed against the wishes of Police.

Lee James Bellis faces four charges of helping somebody hold onto money- totalling ?41,000 - made through drugs trafficking.

Inspector Richard Power said Bellis should stay in custody while inquiries continue.

But High Bailiff Michael Moyle granted bail in the sum of ?5000 and ordered the deposit of ?10,000 be paid to the court.

The defendant was ordered to report daily to his local police station in Liverpool.

The matter will be called again on August the 14th.
