Caution - men at work!

The Department of Transport is reminding motorists to take extra care when passing road line painters.

DoT staff are currently carrying out the work on the Mountain Road and say some drivers are ignoring temporary traffic calming measures.

Speed restrictions and mobile traffic lights are in place, but it's feared there could be a serious accident, through motorists not paying attention.

The DoT's assistant engineer Kerrin Wells says people must show more consideration (audio file attached):
