Cannell reassures marshals

by isleofman.com 1st August 2007
A key figure in the forthcoming Manx Grand Prix is reassuring marshals and other volunteers who may be concerned about the police investigation into the deaths of three people during the Senior TT.

A person has been released on bail after being questioned on suspicion of manslaughter, but MPG Media Officer Geoff Cannell (pictured) is stressing that, so far, nobody has been charged with any offence.

He also says marshals are covered by the master insurance policies for the meetings, in relation to any personal liability (audio file attached):

The first practice session for the Manx Grand Prix is on August 18.
