The Department of Tourism and Leisure, the promoters of the 2007 TT races, can confirm that a number of people from the TT2007 race organisation have been interviewed by the Isle of Man Constabulary. These interviews are to establish the facts and background concerning the incident at the 26th Milestone during the Senior TT on Friday 8th June which resulted in the death of a competitor and two spectators.

A comprehensive investigation is taking place including witness interviews and interviews under caution. This is standard practice following an accident of this nature at the TT races.
