Braddan Select Committee

by isleofman.com 1st August 2007
People have until the end of this month to submit their contribution to an investigation into the termination of the Braddan Area Plan.

A Select Committee has been appointed to look into the involvement of former Clerk to Braddan Commissioners, Charles 'Buster' Lewin, and the Parish Commissioners.

In particular it will focus on the circumstances of the sale of land owned by the Clerk and his suitability to be involved in the process of the plan, the preparation of the Commissioners' submissions and any deficiencies which may have influenced the failed process.

The Select Committee wants written contributions from members of the public and organisations.
