MHK sees services restored

by isleofman.com 30th July 2007
Residents in Upper Pulrose have had their evening bus services fully restored from today.

Services to Heather and Hazel Crescents were suspended in January after cars parked on narrow streets in the area meant buses couldn't get through.

South Douglas MHK David Cretney (pictured), expressed concern about the lack of services and, following discussions with the union representing drivers and Department of Tourism and Leisure officials, the situation has been remedied.

After a week of running the 8pm bus service to the area on a trial basis, the time-table has now been fully restored.
