New Deputy Deemster appointed.

A new Deputy Deemster has been appointed.

Andrew Corlett, an advocate with Simcocks, will succeed His Honour Deemster Andrew Williamson, who is retiring.

Andrew is an OKW who studied at Pembroke College Oxford.

He had held the post of Government Advocate and was a partner in Dickinsons before joining Simcocks in 2001.

He is married with two children.

The appointment will take effect on a date still to be agreed but its likely to be early in the new year.
