Assaults in Douglas

by isleofman.com 30th July 2007
It is been a weekend punctuated with violent incidents.

Yesterday a man was attacked in Upper Douglas, while another had injuries to his face after apparently being assaulted on the promenade in the early hours.
That was at 1am and police are looking for witnesses.

At the same time, outside the Outback Pub on Barrack street, what's termed a 'serious assault' took place. The attacker ran off towards Lord Street.
There was a queue of people there who have well have seen the incident and they are asked to contact police.

There is no word as to how serious the injuries were.
