Southern Show this weekend

The Southern Agricultural Show opens to the public at 10am on Saturday.

The annual event, held at Great Meadow, Malew attracts thousands of visitors over two days.

One of the highlights is the Grand Parade, featuring the winners in the livestock classes.

It's due to start at 3.15, with the announcement of the supreme champion about an hour later.

Chief Minister and Castletown MHK, Tony Brown, says it provides a wonderful draw to the south of the Island (audio file attached):
