Derelict Gubay properties in Liverpool

Liverpool City Council says it’s to take enforcement action over three derelict sites owned by Island-based businessman Albert Gubay (pictured).

The council says the three grot spots are the only ones on a list of twenty which haven’t been cleaned up.

Councillors are now worried the derelict buildings, which are on main routes into Liverpool, will be the first things visitors to next year’s City of Culture festival will see.
