Brown rejects sacking call

The Chief Minister has rejected calls for the dismissal of a government Minister.

Earlier this week, Manx Radio reported the Manx Electric Railway Society wanted Tourism Minister Adrian Earnshaw to be sacked for failing to back a conservation policy for the MER.

Tony Brown says it's unfortunate the society decided to make the statement, and he believes it would have been better to have arranged another meeting.

He says retaining our heritage is vital and needs government and volunteers to work together:
