Marina would benefit town - MHK

Ramsey MHK Anne Craine has reaffirmed her belief that a marina in Ramsey would have economic benefits for the town.

There have been concerns expressed by Ramsey Commissioner Wilf Young who believes the facility would end up as nothing more than a boat park

However, Mrs Craine (pictured) says to become prosperous a town has to LOOK prosperous and a marina could be a first step in this direction.

And she says environmental concerns regarding the damming of Sulby river are premature:
