ECO-Day on Monday

by isleofman.com 19th July 2007
Castle Rushen High School will hold its third annual 'ECO-Day' on Monday, aiming to raise awareness about local and international environmental issues.

Year seven pupils will abandon their regular timetables for the day and take part in a series of workshops, covering everything from Fairtrade products to global warming.

The culmination of the day will be the 'ECO-Footprints' show, at the school from 7-9pm, which promises an evening of music and drama for the public.

Cheryl Cousins (pictured) from the One World Centre says for the students it will build on what they've learned, and show parents and guests the themes discussed during the day (audio file attached):

Advanced bookings for the 'ECO-Footprints' evening show can be made by contacting the Castle Rushen school office on 826500.
