Undiagnosed dairy intolerance

Around one in seven Manx residents could be suffering from dairy intolerance.

According to research, just 4% of people who experience regular bloating, stomach upsets and rashes have been diagnosed with the condition.

Nutritionist Angela Dowden says many people mistake the symptoms with IBS, stress or menstruation.

She advises people to keep a food diary:
