Parking problems in Peel

There are claims by Peel residents that a new parking measure introduced to the promenade is causing more problems than its solving.

The Department of Transport has brought in a two hour disc zone to try and cut traffic congestion on the Shore Road.

The D.O.T says it won't issue a comment until Director of Highways Bruce Hannay and Peel M.H.K Tim Crookall have met with the town commissioners to review recent correspondence.

These local residents and business owners are unhappy with the changes:
