New dog walkway

by isleofman.com 14th July 2007
Dog owners in the capital have a new dog walking area in Noble’s Park, thanks to Douglas Corporation and a ratepayer.

Peta Cubbon of Laureston Grove managed to secure more than 700 signatures, asking if the Corporation could provide a large area where people could exercise their dogs.

And the council was happy to oblige.

Leisure services committee chairman, Raina Chatel, agreed the previous area in the park designated for dog walking was no longer suitable, so it provided a new open grassed space with waste bins and paved walkways.
