Another UK postal strike

by isleofman.com 11th July 2007
Postal services to and from the Isle of Man face further disruption from tomorrow as postal workers in the United Kingdom stage another day of industrial action.

The 24-hour strike begins at 7pm on Thursday.

It will mean delays to all mail posted in the Island on Thursday and Friday bound for the UK, and to post coming in the other direction.

ThePost Office says customers with urgent items should consider using guaranteed next day services.

Royal Mail is expected to catch up with the backlog over the coming weekend.
