Smoking ban - another debate?

The impending smoking ban in the Isle of Man is the subject of a motion from East Douglas MHK Brenda Cannell for the Tynwald sitting which starts today.

She wants further debate on the issue before the order to ban smoking is ratified.

A move to extend the ban to the new prison in Jurby is on the horizon.

Mrs Cannell (pictured) says the Island should look carefully at the the experience of some American prisons where a ban is enforced:
