Port St Mary lifeboat busy again

by isleofman.com 7th July 2007
It continues to be a busy week for the Port St Mary lifeboat.

The crew were called out again last night to go to the aid of a yacht off Langness which was en-route from Douglas to Port St Mary.

The call from Liverpool coastguard came around 6pm after it was reported that one of the crew of five had gone overboard.

The man was recovered by the lifeboat, and the yacht - which had a damaged rudder - was escorted back to Port St Mary where the crew were all said to be well.
