Peel fish yard work

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry is to improve and upgrade its industrial properties in the Mill Road Yard in Peel.

The old ice factory and one of the kipper houses have already been knocked down, and more demolition work is planned prior to redevelopment of the entire site - used mainly by seafood processing and related organisations.

Minister Phil Gawne says it could also make it possible for other government facilities to relocate along the Quay:
