100 years of Scouting

by isleofman.com 5th July 2007
Hundreds of Scouts in the Isle of Man are preparing for a truly International summer - as part of their 100-year anniversary celebrations.

Explorer Scouts from the Island will join 40,000 others from all over the world at a huge Jamboree in Essex next month.

They'll bring back with them 20 Japanese Scouts - who will stay with Manx scouting families to share each other's cultures.
