Bishopscourt fundraiser

The grounds of one of the last stately homes on the Island will be the venue for a popular fund raising event today (Thurs).

The event in the picturesque grounds of Bishopscourt will raise money to help reduce the bank loan taken out to support a sheltered housing complex which is run by the Kirk Michael Housing Association.

The afternoon will feature music from the band of the Royal Marines, Michael Swaine playing the organ in the chapel and Young Singer of Mann, Olivia Black.

Michael MHK David Cannan says he hopes as many people as possible will turn up for what may be the last time the event can be held at Bishopscourt:
