Port St Mary lifeboat launched

Port St Mary and Douglas lifeboats were launched last night to go to the aid of a speedboat with three people on board.

The call out came at around 11pm when the vessel was reported as being somewhere between Derbyhaven and Douglas - when the boat was located it was found to be close to Port Soderick

It's understood a casualty from the boat was taken to Port St Mary at around 11.35pm.

There are currently no further details on any injuries sustained.
