Warning to would-be racists

Police officers are warning they won’t tolerate racism in the wake of the latest United Kingdom terror attacks.

Immediately after the twin tower attacks in 2001, officers say they noticed a rise in tensions and some people were prosecuted for racist abuse.

Chief Inspector Peter Young says after the latest incidents he is determined to protect all parts of the Manx community.

He says anybody targeted by racists should contact his officers, and he has this warning for those responsible for any abuse:
