Police probe Willaston house crash

by isleofman.com 30th June 2007
Police have launched an investigation after a vehicle was crashed into a home in Willaston, then abandoned, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The black Vauxhall Frontera 4x4 went into the lounge of the bungalow on Julian Road at 3.20am.

The occupants were asleep at the back of the property and were unhurt.

The home suffered substantial structural damage and the fire service was called to the scene and used props to support the building.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw the vehicle being driven erratically between 2.30am and 3.10am or saw somebody running through Willaston around that time.

If you have any information contact Police Headquarters on 631212 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
