2007 Manx Heritage Flower Festival

The 2007 Manx Heritage Flower Festival begins this morning (Saturday).

Over the next eight days, 16 churches and chapels will be home to beautiful displays.

Under the umbrella of ‘Churches Together in Mann’, the festival will run throughout Manx National Week until July the eighth.

Participating churches will have displays on the theme of ‘Set my People Free’, which compliments the new Government strategy ‘Freedom to Flourish’ and is also during the 200th anniversary of the abolition of slavery in the UK.

Since it began in 1990, the festival’s attracted thousands of people.
