Birthday celebration for Wind Orchestra

The Isle of Man Wind Orchestra celebrates its 10th birthday this evening (Saturday).

The 40-strong orchestra will perform a gala concert at Ballakermeen High School's Studio Theatre at seven thirty.

Musical director, Paul Dunderdale, has written a three-movement suite, 'Manannan', which will be premiered.

Orchestra chairman, Joanna Drysdale, says the concert, fittingly, will have a Celtic theme (audio file attached):
