Price probe 'not Government led'

A claim was made in Tynwald this week that bonuses have been paid to senior executives of the Steam Packet Company totalling some ?10million.

This came out during the debate on a motion from Peter Karran to look at the Steam Packet's 'user agreement', which was then successfully amended by Chief Minister Tony Brown to result in a select committee inquiry into Isle of Man ferry prices.

But North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson (pictured) says it was NOT a government amendment:
