Walking Festival next week

Over a hundred walkers are due to arrive this weekend for the fourth June Walking Festival.

Assisted by guides, they will tackle a variety of walks over the course of next week.

Last year's favourite - the coastline between Port St Mary and Port Erin- is top of the list again, but the new routes around Laxey and the Snaefell Mines, and one covering The Bungalow, Snaefell and the Millennium Way are also popular.

Organiser Mick Salmon, says locals are more than welcome to join in with the visitors, who hail from a variety of locations:
