Shillito completes TT course

A young Ramsey man with special needs has raised over ?500 for charity by walking around the TT course

Alistair Shillito, who has physical and learning difficulties, set out from Lezayre Road in Ramsey just after 6am yesterday (Sunday) and completed the course back to Ramsey at a 9:45 in the evening.

A keen sailor, he was raising funds for Sailing for the Disabled

During his walk he stopped at Government House and was met by the Lieutenant Governor and Lady Haddacks.

Anyone who wishes to make a contribution to Alistair's fundraising activity can do so by ringing Sailing for the Disabled's PR Officer Marion Bolam on 812121.
