Age Concern chief expresses concern

Age Concern Isle of Man's chief executive is worried by the findings of new Help the Aged research on the plight of older people in the UK.

The report revealed more than one fifth of over 65s are living in poverty, with one of the main reasons for this being increasing fuel bills.

Penny Creighton (pictured), says older people will just go without if they can't afford heating and light.

But she says Age Concern can help people receive the Isle of Man government fuel allowance they're entitled to (audio file attached):
