No charge changing rooms

No charge will be imposed on junior football teams wishing to use Douglas Corporation run changing rooms.

Last month, some young players were left without changing facilities for a match at Groves Road.

Councillor Raina Chatel, head of leisure services, says it’s wrong children were left to change outside and says facilities will be free to junior teams.

And she stressed the local authority had never imposed a charge, merely that the majority of youngsters had been expected to turn up for games already in their kits:
