Powerboats return to the Island

by isleofman.com 14th June 2007
For the third year running, Douglas Bay will reverberate to the sound of powerboats this weekend, when the Honda Formula 4-Stroke Series stages its latest round.

Brothers Michael and Stephen Baggs will be quite literally flying the flag for the Island, competing in their three legs emblazoned boat, Vortigern.

This is their second season of competing in the series, having had no previous experience.

But Michael says he and his brother are learning all the time and aim to keep improving race by race (audio file attached):

Practices will take place on Friday afternoon with racing on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
