One-way to success

A senior police officer says the decision to make the Mountain Road one-way during TT fortnight would appear to be justified.

Provisional figures show a 30 per cent reduction in serious accidents on the Mountain compared to TT 2006.

Chief Inspector Carolyn Kinrade believes the multi-agency approach to co-ordinating road safety was a success:
