Warning to fly tippers

Fly tippers are being warned they will face the full force of the law if they are caught by Douglas Corporation.

Councillor are becoming increasingly irritated by the large number of mattresses, electrical appliances and other large items which are being being abandoned in the town.

Public Works Committee Chairman Ritchie McNicholl (pictured) says it's generally happening in lanes at the rear of private sector flats, for example around Demesene Road, when new tenants move in:
