by isleofman.com 10th June 2007
The rider who was injured in an incident in yesterday's Steam Packet Road Races has been discharged from hospital.

Carl Roberts suffered pelvic injuries in an accident at Cross-Four-Ways during the first race on the Billown circuit in the south of the Island.

Several spectators were also hurt and the race was red flagged.

Only one of the four spectators involved was still in Noble's at lunchtime today, and their condition was described as comfortable.

The other three were discharged after treatment.
