Marshals condition update

by isleofman.com 10th June 2007
There's no change in the condition of the two marshals who were seriously injured in an accident during the last lap of Friday's Senior TT, in which a rider and two spectators were killed.

Sixty year-old Hilary Mussen from Ballaugh is still in a critical condition and Janice Phillips, aged 50, from Ramsey is described as stable

First-time TT competitor Mark Ramsbotham, a 34 year old fitter from Norfolk; 33 year old Dean Jacob, a security engineer from Kidderminster; and 52 year old Gregory McKensick from Queensland, Australia all lost their lives.

The Mountain Road was closed for three hours this morning, while police carried out further investigations into the incident.

Motorists are being reminded that the one way system over the mountain will remain in place until 9.30 tomorrow morning when the road will be closed again for the removal of the cones and signage prior to re-opening to two way traffic.
