The High Bailiff has adjourned sentence on a 51 year old woman for reports

Katherine Phyllis Thatcher of Marathon Drive, Douglas, admitted drink driving.

Inspector Richard Power, prosecuting, said acting on information received at 6pm on April 25th, police attended the defendant's home where she admitted she had been driving as reported. Her blood alcohol reading was 310 milligrammes, the legal limit is 80mg.

Thatcher was bailed until July 10th with a condition not to drive.

The High Bailiff also adjourned sentence on a 32 year old man.

Steven Lee Marshal of Springfield Avenue, Douglas, admitted two offences of damaging motorcycles.

Inspector Richard Power, prosecuting, said acting on information from a witness, police detained the defendant at 9.20pm on June 2nd in Lord Street. The witness saw the defendant push over two motorcycles parked in Lord Street.

The defendant said he was drunk and had no recollection of the incident, but he accepted the witness' statement.

Marshal was bailed until July 10th
