A biker is seriously injured in hospital after a collision with a lorry on the Douglas to Ramsey coast road this morning.

Part of the road by Bulgham Rocks was closed for several hours for police inquiries.

The coast road has now re-opened.

Meanwhile, another rider who was badly hurt in a separate incident on the coast road, by the Rest and Be Thankful, is said to be improving.

Witnesses to either accident are asked to ring the Roads Policing Unit on 631444 or Police Headquarters on 631 212.
