TT fireworks decision later

Tonight’s TT fireworks display in Douglas may be under threat.

Organisers are keeping an eye on the weather, particularly sea breezes, but they don’t expect to make a decision until much nearer the scheduled start time.

Michael Doherty from the Department of Tourism and Leisure says the wind may drop once the sun goes down.

But the show, due to start at 11pm, may have to be called off:
