Accident victim named

Police have named the 20 year old biker who died in an accident on Richmond Hill yesterday.

Martin Leonard Baker, of Warboys, Cambridgeshire died as a result of injuries he received in a head-on collision at 3.50pm.

The coroner of inquests has been informed but no date has yet been set for a hearing.

Mr Baker’s Suzuki bike was involved in a collision with a Yamaha, also ridden by a visitor, outside Richmond House on the Old Castletown Road.

Police say they would like to hear from anybody using the road at around that time, in particular the driver of a Silver Ford Focus seen nearby.
