Samaritans to help during TT

by isleofman.com 2nd June 2007

The Samaritans in the Isle of Man are gearing up to provide more support than ever for both locals and visitors during this year's TT festival.

Sixteen additional volunteers are arriving tomorrow from the United Kingdom's Festival branch, and will be mingling with the crowds from their tent on Douglas promenade.

Spokesman Ray Harvey (pictured) says the TT is a wonderful experience for most people but there can sometimes be problems, and the Samaritans are there to help (audio file attached):

The contact number for Samaritans on the island is 663399
