Volunteer of the Year at Noble's

Welcomers at Noble's Hospital have been honoured at a 'Volunteer of the Year Awards' ceremony.

140 volunteers work there, doing everything from accompanying and talking to patients to help put them at ease, to organising art activities.

MLC and Member for Health, Pam Crowe, who was one of the original welcomers at the old hospital, attended a special 'thank you' tea party last week.

Mrs Crowe says they deserve proper recognition for all their hard work:
