Bi-centenary Methodist service

Locals and visitors are invited to a service this evening (Sunday) to help mark the bi-centenary of the first Primitive Methodist Camp meeting.

It’s virtually 200 years to the day since the first open-air meeting at Mow Cop in Staffordshire.

This evening's service at Trinity Rosemount Church in Douglas starts at six thirty and local preacher on the Douglas and Peel circuit, Peter Murcott (pictured), says members of the public are more than welcome to attend (audio file attached):
