Death of Chris Price

by isleofman.com 25th May 2007
Former Manx Radio presenter Chris Price has died.

He had been ill for some time, following an accident last Autumn, and passed away in the Newlands ward at Noble's hospital after suffering a brain haemorrhage.

Chris was 68 and leaves a wife, Vicky, three daughters and a son.

He was a popular late night host for many years, and was heard regularly on Manx Radio until the early nineteen nineties.

His friend and former colleague, Mike Reynolds, first met him when he responded to an advertisement for 'voices' for commercials.

Mike says his talent was obvious straight away, and it wasn't long before he secured the high profile role for which he became well known on the Island (audio file attached):

A private service and cremation will be held on June 1, with a memorial service at a later date.
