Food outlets will be checked

A record number of TT visitors will need a record amount of feeding, and a team at the Department of Local Government and the Environment will be out and about making sure fast food meets hygiene standards.

Manager of DoLGE’s Food Safety Unit, Ivan Bratty, says he and his colleagues will be inspecting food outlets such as burger vans as they set up.

They will also be collecting samples throughout the fortnight to make sure food safety standards are being maintained.
